Back to school on Monday and straight into it. We were introduced to our new teachers and given our first assignment. There was a lot of catching up to do after the summer holidays and was really nice to see everyone again. I was told there would be tuesday bar plus an outing on wednesday so went to work and let them know I would not be back until thursday.
I had been asked to be part of the group of second semesters a presentation to the new international first semesters on what they could expect in the first semester. It was nice to see all the new faces and go over the work we had done and explain just how much we had learnt in a couple of months. Then it was great fun after class having beers and catching up.
Wednesday I woke up and it was pouring with rain. Not a good day to be going on a canal trip. So I had a much enjoyed sleep in and then went to school for the nice lunch for the second semesters. Went home and watched some movies all tucked up in my apartment while raining outside and only feeling slightly bad for not being at work.
Thursday it was back to school and then work and then home for dinner before biking in to town to catch up with Kat. It had been months since we had properly talked so was great to see her. We went to the smokiest bar I have ever been in and struggled to keep our eyes open while beating some guys at pool.
Friday I turned up at school and there was no teacher. So we did some group work, mucked around a lot and then I skipped the bbq and went home to chill for a few hours before the madness was to begin.
The picture above is of Saxo Banks new building. It is almost finished being built and they had the first Friday bar in there last week.
It was a very nice Friday bar with a lot of people attending. We had champagne and sat on the new terrace. We also discovered our receptionist can sing! Then it was off on our bikes racing across town as we were late for Ashraf's farewell dinner.
After dinner we biked into town to our favourite place we love to hate, Da Vincis. A lot of fun and dancing was had there and a lot of saxo people turned up to create a great atmosphere.
Then it was off to my school to finish off the night hanging with the die hard party dudes that were still there in the early hours of the morning.
Needless to say I was not up to much Saturday. Then Sunday I did a bit of study in the sun and then off to Christiania to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon/evening chilling with Nat.It was a really great week but very busy. Ths week I hope for it to be a little calmer.. =)
