getting used to no study =)

It was a nice quiet week until Thursday and quiz night again. We were not the full team that week and the questions were harder than normal. Not even our lucky table and lucky pen couldn't help us but I think we did well coming in fourth considering. It was not a too late night home though and back to work Friday morning. Then was Friday bar =D I stayed for a few drinks and then headed to my school bar to meet with Phong and Ana. There weren't too many people there but it was nice to hang out in the court yard now it's a bit warmer. Then it was time to cross the road to Fode's and his birthday party. Phong came with me and we were soon playing rock band with a vengeance. I was being a bit of a mike hogger but seeing as no one else seemed to want to sing it was okay. It was heaps of fun and Maart and Karina also joined the party. Next thing it was about 4am when I got home.

Saturday I had Morten coming over for dinner so I had to clean! and shop! Barbara had bought me sausages and loads of cheddar cheese back from Scotland so I cooked us some bangers and mash with cheese sauce and Maart joined us when he finished work. We hung around at my place a little too long organising how we were going to get to the Download festival in June so that by the time we got to Valhalla we had missed the Johnny Cash tribute concert. It was really busy but we found a table got some dice and settled in to some good times and drinking games. Next thing we were being kicked out as the owners were tired and headed home another late night.

It was another quiet start to the week and I am really enjoying the relaxing time after work. Wednesday though I had a date with the ballet. I met with Barbara, Anca, Ana and some other ladies at the theatre and had some wine and gossip before taking our seats to watch a Midsummer Night's Dream. I got a bit of a surprise as instead of being all lovely fairies it was more like a Midsummer Night's Dream in outerspace with horny alien contortionists! But the second half was much more like I would expect a shakespeare in ballet.

Damn that week went fast! I was worried it would drag being the first full work week in a little while but it flew past. Next thing it was Friday again and again I had a few beers after work. Morten was there as he and the other guys were supposed to see a movie but he decided it would be more fun to come with me to the school bar (of course!!) It turns out the others missed the movie also spending too much time wining and dining beforehand. It was a fun bar but not eating any dinner is not a good idea and I was not home late.

I then proceeded to have a very relaxing weekend. Sleeping, watching Dextor, cleaning apartment and reading my book. I also managed to get time to call home <3
I'm not sure I even have any photos from these last weeks but I will have a look and add later if I find. Now time to finish the book (yip, it's a goodie). Laters

It was a nice short week at work with Easter holidays starting on Thursday in Denmark. I hadn't asked for the time off but Julie assumed I would be taking it. I decided to come in Thursday and Friday though as I needed to make up the hours. We had Wednesday bar this week and was nice to have a few bevvies with some of the girls from my new team before rushing home to change and head to Rust to see Omnihil! This was the finals of a competition they were in and they only played four songs but was great to see everyone and we screamed and cheered and headbanged a lot. Unfortunately it was a voting system this time and some indie rock band won :P

Thursday was nice and quiet at work and I took the chance to start answering the phones. It was not bad with Johanna to listen in and help me. After work I headed to Piritas for an Easter dinner with her, Sarah and Morten. S & P had made a real nice dinner and then brought out the vodka and jagermeister shots. I had a couple but was sensible with work the next day and watched amusedly as my three friends got very merry. It was nice that I didn't have to be at work till 11am though and Friday was very quiet at work, too quiet.. boring! I went home and had a quiet night after the last two fun ones.

So Saturday I was ready to party! It was a lovely day and I headed into town for a bit of shopping and then later went out to Morten's place for dinner. We were joined by Ana, Maart, Phong, Sarah and Michael. Morten once again cooked amazing steaks and we played drinking games and listened to music before heading into town to Valhalla. I was so tired on the way that I got the taxi to drop me home and was soon fast asleep.

Sunday after a relaxing day getting over the hangover I biked all the way to Amagar where Martin was apartment and cat sitting. They were lovely, fluffy friendly cats. Although very spoilt! I used to think I was bad with all the incredibly useless gifts I would buy Butters. He cooked dinner and then we drank very nice whiskys and watched Shutter Island.

I was very glad to have today (Monday) off. Time to do laundry and relax before back to work tomorrow. I went out to the apartment I would be moving to to sign the contract and once again feeling very happy with my good luck finding this one! Glad it's a short week, Laters =)
